How the Hate Index Works
1. **What moves it:** real buyer signals, like critical reviews, price increases, bills and votes for alternatives. 2. **Where signals come from:** reviews written here, public posts on social media and bills buyers share with us anonymously. 3. **How shares are set:** recent signals count most, so the board moves when buyers do. 4. **What the % means:** each company's share of the hate among the top 10. It's a live reading, not a forecast. 5. **Checked first:** a person reviews every signal before it counts. Spam, duplicates and unclear posts are left out. 6. **The watchlist:** companies just outside the top 10. They move up on their own as new signals land. 7. **No pay-to-rank:** nobody bets money, and no company can pay to move up, down or off the board. 8. **Always updating:** we look for new signals every day, and this page refreshes on its own. 9. **Who it's for:** buyers heading into a renewal who want to know if others are leaving too. 10. **See something wrong?**Tell us and we'll check it.
