You are getting very… legible.

Hypnotype is a typeface that lives inside a single spiral. Every letter is the same coil, lit up in different places, so an A and a Z are really the same groove playing a different tune. Type below, twist the dials, then take home a working font or an SVG that loops forever.

Vortex is the dramatic one: best big and animated, with less detail at the edges. Exact gives the cleanest letters; Whole segments is chunkier, like a pixel font.

Fonts made here are released under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Copyright 2026 HoneyWired LLC.

Set anything you like in Hypnotype, commercial work included. Posters, logos and websites made with it need no credit. Share the font file itself and keep the OFL.txt that comes in every download.

“Hypnotype” is a Reserved Font Name, so a modified font needs a new name. You can bundle it with other work, but the license doesn’t allow selling the font on its own. Exported SVGs are your artwork. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Seeing double?

Does one side of the spiral look blurrier than the other?

Hypnotype can’t diagnose anything, but your eye doctor can. Go see them. Tell them a font sent you.
